Unless specified below, wait at least 12–24 hours before makeup. Cleanse with lukewarm water and a gentle, fragrance-free cleanser.
(Laser, RF, Potenza, IPL, HIFU, etc.)
• Mild redness and warmth are normal and fade over hours to a couple of days.
• Avoid ice or very cold packs for the first 24–48 hours. Controlled heat stimulates collagen; excessive cooling can blunt the intended effect.
• Take lukewarm showers only on day 0–1. Avoid saunas, steam, hot yoga, heavy lifting, and strenuous exercise for 24–48 hours.
• Use calming hydration: a bland moisturizer, barrier cream, or soothing ampoules (e.g., exosome, PDRN) as directed.
• If skin feels very dry/tight, a room-temperature hydrating sheet mask is acceptable after the first 24 hours as long as skin is intact.
• No picking; allow micro-crusting or flaking to shed naturally.
Broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily. Wear a hat and seek shade for at least 1–2 weeks.
Retinoids, AHA/BHA, scrubs, benzoyl peroxide, strong vitamin C, at-home devices with heat/light.
(Botox/Dysport/Jeuveau, dermal fillers, skin boosters, PRP, MTS microneedling without RF)
• Some redness, pinpoint marks, swelling, or bruising are common and self-limited.
• Avoid alcohol, smoking, intense exercise, saunas/steam, and heavy lifting for 24 hours.
• Sleep with head slightly elevated the first night.
• You may use oral arnica or bromelain if recommended by your provider to support bruise recovery.
Warmth/redness or swelling possible. Keep skin clean and hydrated, avoid heat, heavy exercise, alcohol. Upright posture after neuromodulators.
Flaking or micro-crusting may occur after lasers/RF—do not pick. Bruises from injectables may surface. Continue gentle skincare and SPF.
Texture and tone improvements become more noticeable. Fillers settle and even out. Contact us if anything feels worse rather than gradually better.
Note: If you have a history of cold sores (HSV-1), let us know before laser/needling; preventive medication may be appropriate.
Call the clinic or go to the nearest emergency department if severe symptoms occur.
Yes—use lukewarm water and a gentle, fragrance-free cleanser. Pat dry; no rubbing.
Usually after 12–24 hours, provided there's no oozing/open skin. For MTS/PRP, wait until micro-channels are closed.
Light activity after 24 hours for most treatments; avoid high heat/sweat for 48 hours post heat-based procedures and for 24 hours after injectables.
For heat-based devices, avoid ice or strong cooling for 24–48 hours. A brief room-temperature fan for comfort is fine. After 24 hours, a room-temperature hydrating sheet mask is acceptable if skin is intact.
Neuromodulators 3–7 days (full at ~14). Fillers are immediate but settle over 1–2 weeks. Laser/RF remodeling builds over weeks to months.
