✨ AFTERCARE – Agnes RF (Acne & Sebaceous Treatment)

Comprehensive aftercare guidelines for Agnes RF treatment targeting acne and sebaceous glands for optimal skin clarity and reduced sebaceous activity.

What to Expect

  • Redness, swelling, and pinpoint marks for 2–3 days
  • Treated acne lesions may harden or form small scabs before resolving
  • Mild tenderness, bruising, or temporary numbness can occur
  • Results are gradual over 4–6 weeks as sebaceous activity decreases

DO

  • Cleanse gently with lukewarm water and a fragrance-free cleanser after 24 hrs
  • Apply bland moisturizers or soothing creams to support healing
  • Use SPF 30+ daily; protect skin from direct sun for at least 1–2 weeks
  • Sleep with a clean pillowcase; avoid touching or scratching the skin
  • Stay hydrated and follow your provider's instructions for topical care

DON'T

  • Do not use ice packs or cold compresses — Agnes RF relies on controlled heat, and excessive cooling may reduce effectiveness
  • Avoid makeup for the first 24 hrs or until skin is intact
  • No retinoids, scrubs, acids, benzoyl peroxide, or other harsh actives for 5–7 days
  • Avoid strenuous exercise, hot yoga, saunas, and steam rooms for 24–48 hrs
  • Don't pick or peel scabs or crusting skin

Important Note About Cooling

Agnes RF relies on controlled heat for treatment effectiveness. Avoid ice packs or cold compresses as excessive cooling may reduce the treatment's effectiveness.
